Certified in Animal Chiropractic By The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA)
Chiropractic optimizes proper function and motion of the spine, as well as all joints of the body. Dysfunctional areas, or areas of misalignment, are corrected using manual or instrument-assisted adjustments with the goal of restoring proper movement and function. Just as in humans, the spine and spinal musculature of animals govern the function of nerve flow within the body. Therefore, to obtain optimal nervous system function and health, all interference must be removed, and movement corrected, for proper function to be restored.
Who Can Practice?
In the state of Colorado, Licensed human chiropractors may obtain a separate animal chiropractic license after completing the necessary state required course work in zoonotic diseases and passing the subsequent examinations.
